Responsibilities

In keeping with Dignity Health core values an LVN II assigned to the Subacute Care Unit is a practitioner who carries out routine patient care assignments works in controlled patient situations and performs established nursing procedures for individuals under the direction of a SAU Registered Nurse. The SAU LVN III assists the RN and physician staff in clinical data collection and procedures within scope of practice.

This position is represented by SEIU-UHW and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.

Qualifications
  • Minimum Requirements:
    • One (1) year current experience in an acute or long term care setting
    • IV Certification
    • Current California license as Vocational nurse (CT LVN)
    • Current CPR (CT CPRBLS)
