Job Description:

We are hiring a machine operator for a roofing and siding company location in Hopkins. In this role, you will tend metal fabricating machines such as forming machines, rolls, brakes, presses, and punch, which cut, shape, and bend rolled metal by performing the following duties.

Adjusts machine to material and finished product requirements.

Feeds metal into fabrication machine.

Observes machine operation to detect workpiece defects or machine malfunction.

Assures product quality by adjusting machine to remove burrs and sharp edges from material.

Reports machine and product quality issues to supervisors.

Performs minor machine maintenance such as oiling machines and dies.

Responsible for packers to package, label, stack and transport finished workpieces in a timely manner.

Operates hoist to place coils of metal on and off an unwinder.

Completes production records on finished goods.

Job Requirements:

Must be able to lift up 100 lbs. (team lifting)
