Job Summary:

Sets up and operates a variety of CNC, NC, and conventional machines to form and fabricate aircraft parts.

Job Responsibilities:

• Sets up and operates various sizes of CNC, NC, and conventional press brakes to perform a variety of metal forming and fabricating operations. Uses hand tools, blueprints, and precision measuring instruments such as a scale, protractor, and calipers.
  • Makes adjustments and uses appropriate skilled judgment to obtain high quality parts per engineering specifications.
  • Practices safe work habits.
• Uses material or tool moving equipment as required.
• Operates heat plate in preparing parts for forming on press brake.
• Responsible for housekeeping and cleanliness of area.
• Responsible for clocking own labor performance correctly.
• Responsible for quality of own work.
• Performs other related duties as required.
