Job Description

A machinist is responsible for completing the following duties:

• Operate CNC machines, manual lathes, and boring mills to produce quality parts that meet design specifications; load materials, set offsets, perform edits, debur, and inspect finished products to ensure accuracy.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and part specifications to ensure correct dimensions, tolerances, and machining sequences; identify and resolve equipment malfunctions or out-of-tolerance issues.
• Use forklifts and overhead cranes to move materials and equipment as needed, ensuring safe handling and adherence to safety protocols.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, engineers, quality control, and safety personnel to address quality concerns and machining issues.
• Maintain compliance with 5S standards for workplace organization and cleanliness; perform other related duties as assigned.

Shift

• 6:00am - 4:30pm Monday - Thursday | 6:00am - 2:30pm Friday

Qualifications

• 3 - 5 years of recent machine shop experience
• Computer literacy
• Able to communicate well and excel in a team environment
