Insight Global is looking to hire a full-time rotor horizontal machinist for one of our large manufacturing clients in Charlotte, NC. This would be on third shift, working Monday -Friday from 12-8 AM. This person would be responsible for setting up and operating the CNC (Complex Numeric Control) horizontal boring and slotter machines in order to perform various operations on a variety of parts and components. An ideal candidate for this position would have knowledge of manual machining and be confident in the fundamentals of the machines they use.

Required Skills & Experience
- 3 years' experience performing industrial-mechanical duties using CNC controls
- Ability to read G-codes and M-codes
- Must have high school diploma or equivalent
- Strong manual machining skills (very hands on)
- Ability to understand the fundamentals of CNC machines.
- Experience setting up and operating one or more of the following machines: Ingersoll CNC Floor Type Horizontal Boring Mill, Giddings & Lewis CNC Floor Type Horizontal Boring Mill, Giddings & Lewis CNC Travelling Column Horizontal Boring Mill, Ingersoll CNC Horizontal Slotting Machine, Mazak CNC 5-axis machining center including setup cell and pallet tech, as well as various manual drills and Bridgeport mills.
- Ability to obtain fork truck and crane license
