Mail Print Services Team Leader

Job overview:

Schneider is seeking a Mail Print Services Team Leader in Green Bay to provide support to leadership by setting and ensuring achievement of ambitious daily goals for print, finishing, postal, shipping and distribution activities. This role must ensure the prioritized and time-allocated work plan set daily is understood by the print techs and courier associates.

Responsibilities:

• Foster a high-performance work environment. Lead associates to surpass expectations, improve efficiency and deliver superior products and services at the lowest cost.
• Facilitate individual associate development through daily coaching and mentoring, conducting or facilitating training, holding regular business partnership/one-on-one meetings and completing performance appraisals.
• Maintain team schedules to ensure adequate coverage to meet production needs and minimize overtime.
• Respond to team inquiries and on-site emergencies, escalating to department manager as needed.
• In addition to leading the team, this individual takes a hands-on role in daily production work.

Skills and qualifications:

• Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience. One plus years of relevant work experience.
• Experience working or leading in a print facility is preferred but not required
• This role may require working a few weekend days to meet business needs during the year
• Experience in pre-press activities, operating digital or ink jet presses and related finishing equipment (book making/binding, cutting, scoring, folding, inserting, etc.) and/or receiving experience is preferred
