MilliporeSigma has a current opening as a Maintenance Contract Sales Representative at our Burlington location. Join a fast pace, results driven organization where you will be responsible for the service contract sales of our customer's existing lab water purification equipment. The position will be a hybrid role and reporting to the Burlington office.Key Tasks & Responsibilities: Interact with internal and external customers from quotation generation through the Purchase Order processing phaseGenerate quotations for new and renewal service agreements for current MilliporeSigma customersWork independently to manage new and renewal service agreements within a defined geographical territoryPerform research using a variety of different databases, including MilliporeSigma's customer history database, service management database, contract management database, installation database and financial database, all which stores inquiries and information that MilliporeSigma has received from a customer and/or prospective customerWork closely with Order Management team to ensure that quotations are entered accurately and follow up regularly to ensure that product is shipped as requiredUtilize sales experience to negotiate agreement cost structure for competitive customer agreements, to aid in customer retention, and to minimize loss of businessWork independently and collaboratively with Field Sales and Field Service to obtain orders and grow the service and consumable revenue to meet the established sales targetTravel up to 5% Location: Hybrid 3 days per week in Burlington, MA location Who You Are: Minimum Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED2+ years of work experience in sales or customer facing role OR in a Scientific lab environment Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor's in Business, Chemistry or BiologyStrong typing skillsExcellent written, oral and customer interaction skillsAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft Office SuiteWorking knowledge of Oracle, Lotus Notes applications, Saleforce.com (or similar CRM system)Ability to prioritize, schedule effectively, and meet deadlinesEffectively work in a fast-paced, dynamic, team environmentHighly attentive to detailAbility to work independently, as well within a team
