We are seeking a Maintenance/Engineering Assistant Chief Engineer-Technical Specialist to join our team. This is a full-time exempt position.

Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to being able to plan and adapt mass production tooling and processes for service part production. Prepare manufacturing layouts and capacity planning. Design equipment, tooling, and workstations. Introduce new technology and innovation for service model manufacturing. Determine takt time, cycle time and station tasking. Coordinate equipment and process changeover plans with other departments. Support/assist maintenance with equipment issues. Prepare and maintain the group budget and tracking. Continuous improvements of service manufacturing process to support profitability improvement. Modify or create programming for equipment. Track and evaluate down time. Identify and report any non-conformities via chain of command. Track and report environmental requirements. Coordinate Environmental Health and Safety activities and report.

An Associate who has knowledge of assembly and component drawings, BOM's and manufacturing equipment (mechanical and electronics), ERP environment experience (QAD preferred), a technical knowledge of Auto-Cad, project and quality system management experience (ISO9001 minimum), ability to communicate with all levels and outside contacts and work independently from general supervision, possess excellent organization skills with the ability to perform multiple tasks and obtain results working within strict time frames, proficient in Microsoft Office, excellent analytical and problem solving skills, along with the ability to travel are needed for this position. This position is first shift Monday - Thursday, 6:00am - 4:30pm.
