Eastern Illinois University is seeking candidates for the Civil Service position of Maintenance Equipment Operator in the Department of Facilities, Planning, and Management/Grounds. This position will operate and maintain grounds equipment, assist with grounds work as needed, and perform other tasks associated with the grounds department.

Qualified candidates must have a CDL license - Class A or B with airbrake endorsement and two years of experience performing a variety of semi-skilled manual tasks in the maintenance and operation of automotive or related maintenance equipment.

The Civil Service examination for this position is a credentials assessment. No participation other than the submission of application materials is required from qualified applicants. The deadline for all applications is September 5, 2024.
