Production Engineering Manager
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the factory Maintenance team in the planning and implementation of initiatives that maintain and improve the reliability, effectiveness, and/or efficiency of equipment, technical infrastructure, production lines, and/or facilities. Each day, you will develop and implement equipment life cycle management procedures for optimizing costs and profitability. You will also showcase your expertise by developing and proposing improvement projects for processes and production lines to reduce both ordinary and extraordinary maintenance. The work model for the role is: Onsite This role is contributing to the Electrification Distribution Solutions division at the ABB facility in Selmer, TN. Main stakeholders are Manufacturing, Engineering and other Facility personnel. You will be mainly accountable for: • Proposing and managing the annual maintenance budget by monitoring the costs and effectiveness of activities to optimize resources and determining actions to cost issues as necessary. • Defining maintenance policies and processes that drive maximum efficiency of equipment, production lines, and/or facilities. • Developing and implementing life cycle management procedures for all new and existing equipment. • Determining maintenance plans for new production lines and recommends methods to improve reliability, ongoing maintenance, and safety of equipment, in collaboration with the Engineering department. Qualifications for the role
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
- 8 years of plant maintenance or engineering experience.
- Must have prior supervisory experience.
- Solid knowledge of Engineering and Manufacturing Processes.
- Experience with Planned Maintenance and Backlog.
- Good Technical and Engineering Skills.
- Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
