Shift : Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 4:30PM

The role you'll contribute:

Performs a variety of general, mechanical, and preventive maintenance as well as inspections, servicing, and overhaul of equipment and facilities of the hospital.

The value you'll bring to the team:

• Performs a variety of skilled and general facilities maintenance tasks, including regulatory, plumbing, mechanical, painting, carpentry, and basic electrical, office and furniture moves; ability to operate hand and power tools. Ineraction with chillers and boilers. Pevco Tube systems.

• Pnuematic controls and equipmemt .Ability to navigate and assess Building automation. Nurse call repair. PM's and repairs on pumps, motors, belts, exhaust fans and other items.

• Works on assigned projects, and makes rational decisions based on work experience and safe outcomes for patient care; duties will vary according to job assignment and individual skills.

• Ability to complete work orders via computer; identifies material and equipment needs for each assigned.

• Performs repairs, preventive maintenance and equipment replacement on plumbing, electrical, security, and mechanical systems; repairs building interior and external components as directed.

• Works well with other maintenance members and ancillary staff.

• Takes proper safety precautions in all work performed

• Cleans up after each task if necesarry

• Performs maintenance and preventative maintenance and log via peoplesoft

• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed :

• High School Diploma or GED

• (5) years experience in the maintenance field. To be able to read and interpret blueprints and specifications. Must have good aural and visual ability to observe operations of equipment to detect malfunctioning and to determine procedures for duties to which assigned
