Maintenance Planner

Insight Global is looking for an Mechanical Planner for $37 an hour for a client in Bishop, Texas for a 3 month ongoing contract. This person will be working 40 hours a week, with Monday-Thursday being on-site. Overall, the candidate will be spending their time working within SAP for maintenance planning at the Bishop, Texas plant. 10% of their day will be spent completing admin work (taking phone calls, answering emails, scheduling meetings), 40% will be spent in breaking maintenance "unplanned emergency fixing" (going through the work order requests for the plant through SAP and escalating the most time pressing requests), and 50% working with vendors to get materials for the site (ex: valves, exchangers, pumps)

Required Skills & Experience

Must-haves
- 5-10 maintenance planning experience (maintenance planning is used to restore systems to their required functions after failures. In this case, the system is the Power Plant at BASF)
- Strong working experience of SAP in a maintenance planning environment
- No degree needed

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Plusses
- Experience working with maintenance craft vendors.
- Hydro-blaster experience (helping remove unwanted substances from surfaces)
