Oversee and direct improvement of machine availability and efficiency by systematically addressing part and procurement issues that inhibit productive operation of machinery; supervise and manage Maintenance Planning team employees, including scheduling work, delegating work assignments, and evaluating performance; develop and maintain comprehensive plans for preventive and predictive maintenance activities for production assets; coordinate with fellow managers regarding installation and removal of equipment; assist with coordinating engineering changes to enhance equipment production operations; coordinate outside services required for machinery repairs, and oversee purchase order requisitions for all goods, equipment and services related to maintenance and repair of equipment and machinery; communicate with shift supervisors regarding maintenance issues, and ensure adherence to all maintenance-related company policies and procedures, as well as with applicable external quality standards, including lATF 16949/1SO 9001; and prepare and implement training activities in maintenance and continuous improvement techniques for maintenance personnel.
  • Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain or Engineering, or closely related field of study, or foreign equivalent degree.
  • 2 years of experience in a maintenance planning or procurement position or related maintenance role in the heavy duty industrial and automotive crankshaft industry.
  • Must have 2 years of work experience with each of the following: overseeing maintenance parts purchasing process and vendor management for CNC metal machining equipment
  • reviewing and analyzing spare parts and critical spare parts inventory levels for CNC metal machining equipment; performing analysis of downtime data and machine component failures for CNC metal machining equipment to drive improvement actions
  • managing and maintaining budget; compiling daily, weekly, and monthly KPI data reporting for management and board of directors.
