Responsibilities:
  • Develop communications and reporting networks for data gathering, review, analysis and presentation of recommendations to ensure projects remains on schedule and within budget.
  • Communicate schedule status & recommendations to the project teams to maintain the projects within approved budgets and cash flow constraints.
  • Work with project teams to develop and maintain project work breakdown structures according to the Company & Project Controls standards.
  • Review and maintain project performance measurement systems SAP (and Primavera P6) and reports for contractor progress.
  • Ensure both the Company and contractors adhere to project control procedures and reporting requirements.
  • Support Project Controls Supervisor with monthly portfolio and project status reporting.
  • Interface with various departments to gather information, communicate issues, and resolve problems.
  • Prepares and keeps current master program and project plans as well as sub project plans for monitoring and tracking.
  • Provides information as needed on the content, modification, or presentation of project schedule.
  • Identifies and records the impact of work performed and not performed as scheduled. Evaluate actual engineering progress and provide regular schedule updates.
  • Interfaces with Operations, Owners, and Subcontractors to discuss impact of work and resolution of problems.
  • Contributes to the development of working schedules for Estimating, prior to execution date, which sufficiently illustrates the sequence of work activities and project timeframe.
  • Prepares and issues preliminary phased schedules.
  • Incorporates resource loading data into schedules as required.
  • Consults the appropriate project team members and the Company's estimating procedures as a means of ensuring that proper planning is completed prior to the commencement of work.
  • Assists Project Managers in creating short-term schedules, monitor such schedules to determine impact on master schedule, and help in formulating actions to correct scheduling problems.
  • Develop & maintain regular manpower estimates/histograms for current, upcoming, and future work for short term and long-term forecasting manpower needs.
  • Perform EVM analysis on projects in engineering phase
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, Business, or an equivalent field preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Advanced Excel Experience) and experience with SAP. Planning and Scheduling software Primavera P6 is strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in executing, contracting, planning and scheduling projects work required.
