The Maintenance Supervisor serves as maintenance officer for the requesting agency using GCSS-A. The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for work with military representatives to ensure the combat readiness of the customer unit.   • Recommends the allocation of resources to the contractor Maintenance Supervisor/PM and coordinates maintenance operations/priorities with the military representative
  • Ensures the performance of maintenance requirements based on the priorities of the requesting agency and the Maintenance Supervisor
  • Forecasts and monitors the workload for all equipment by type to ensure maximum combat power for the military unit
  • Monitors the maintenance posture using proper maintenance management system
  • Ensures maintenance of power-generation, communications equipment and small arms
  • Attends maintenance meetings when designated by the Maintenance Supervisor
  • Briefs maintenance posture during maintenance meetings and prepares reports for military and contractor review
  • Evaluates and ensures the quality of all maintenance completed by the maintenance contractor personnel
  • Monitors the status of equipment undergoing repairs and determines the status of the repair parts required to complete those repairs. This should include monitoring the ESR (Equipment Status Report), priority 02 (mission critical), priority 05 (severe impact to mission) and priority 12 (routine) parts status.
  • Develops a maintenance plan to utilize personnel to the fullest extent within the limitation of their labor category
QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of military maintenance experience/operations
  • 1+ years of Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-A) experience
  • Must have experience as a Shop Officer or Maintenance Control Sergeant
  • Work experience in a Support Operations Office
  • Experienced user with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to obtain a CAC
