The Pavilion at Queens for Rehabilitation and Nursing is seeking experienced handyman/maintenance assistant. We are seeking for qualified candidates with experience in carpentry, flooring installation and plumbing. Must have previous experience doing light electrical work and HVAC repairs.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Perform maintenance and light repairs
  • Paint and fill gaps.
  • Carpentry skills (installation/finish work)
  • Repair equipment or appliances
  • Assist tradespeople with electrical, plumbing or HVAC repairs
  • Identify and report maintenance issues
  • Ability to work effectively individually and as a team member.
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements: Prior experience working in a healthcare setting preferred (nursing home, assisted living, hospital, etc.)

The position has the potential to be turned into a Director of Maintenance Position.
