Job description

Primary Responsibilities:

Maintenance and Repair:

• Install, maintain, improve, and repair plant services and building installations to prescribed standards, ensuring production efficiency

• Respond to technical issues affecting production and conduct Planned Preventative Maintenance (PM) on electrical and mechanical services

• Estimate job duration and communicate potential consequences of delays in completing work within required timescales

• Identify and escalate any activities posing potential harm or damage

• Report root causes of breakdowns, equipment faults, and concerns to management promptly

Quality and Compliance:

• Ensure all maintenance work meets high-quality standards and complies with regulatory requirements

• Support achievement of company targets related to quality and production efficiency.

• Identify spare part requirements and maintain usage logs

• Assist in developing PM schedules and execute them as required, providing feedback to improve the system

Operations and Training:
• Assist in moving, installing, and repositioning machines and equipment as needed
• Train and mentor apprentices and less experienced technicians
• Operate man lifts, forklifts, and other lifting equipment safely and efficiently

Safety and Environmental Compliance:
• Work within the 5S methodology (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) to maintain a clean and organized workplace
• Promote environmental issues and ensure adherence to all company procedures and standards

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent. Additional technical certifications or vocational training in mechanical or electrical fields preferred
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance roles within a manufacturing environment, with specific knowledge of machinery used in window extrusion or related industries preferred but not required
  • Supervisory Experience: Previous experience as a maintenance supervisor is highly desirable. Alternatively, a combination of extensive maintenance experience and demonstrated leadership capabilities may be considered

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $96,000 -$113,000 + bonus + medical, dental, vision benefits starting day 1 + 401k and PTO. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. (Full-time is defined as regularly working 30+ hours per week.)
