This position is part of the Maintenance / Engineering Group reporting to the Maintenance Department Manager and requires a candidate who is highly safety conscientious with a strong knowledge of good safety practices and behaviors exhibited as an active participant in achieving Department Safety Goals.

Hourly Pay Range $22.50 - $24.83

DUTIES:

• This position will provide clerical duties that primarily support daily maintenance and engineering functions.
• Working extensively within SAP - Plant Maintenance and Accounting activities
• Ability to learn and cover the storeroom position, as a backup including ability to operate a forklift.
• SPOC/Safety Observer for various maintenance projects
• Maintain various program spreadsheets and conduct monthly inspections.
• Coordinate necessary documentation for projects.
• Work within our management system to update or create new documents.
• Ability to communicate and coordinate with vendors.
• Attend and represent the Dept on multiple committees.

Qualifications

• Must be willing to "Cross Train" in all Department positions, as necessary.
• Must be willing to perform all tasks as assigned by Supervisor or Manager.
• Must be able to organize and plan priorities.
• Must have excellent time management, problem solving, verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to maintain files, drawings, project status information and Hot Work Process documentation.
• Must be able to perform accurate and timely data entry tasks as needed by the department.
• Must have good computer skills: Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project
• Must have good knowledge of the Management Systems and be able to develop job instructions as they relate to maintenance.
• Must be able to develop a good working knowledge of the SAP system.
• Must be able to generate work orders from the CMMS (SAP), Work Request System, and other forms authorized by management.
