Maintenance Tech

We are currently seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team and help ensure the day-to-day maintenance services of all our facilities are running smoothly.

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing repairs on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. You will also be responsible for the refurbishment of apartments and homes, ensuring that all repairs meet safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in multi-faceted facilities such as retirement or residential communities, be able to read blueprints, and have knowledge of dining area kitchen equipment and service.

At Robin Run Village, we value attention to detail, great organizational skills, and the ability to work well under pressure. You will work closely with our Maintenance Supervisor to identify and resolve any maintenance issues. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, completing assigned work as needed on jobs, and ensuring that all preventive maintenance procedures are carried out on a scheduled basis.

In addition to your technical skills, we are looking for someone with excellent communication skills who can work seamlessly with all departments and residents. You should always treat all staff and residents with courtesy and have a desire to think outside the box to come up with viable solutions to complex issues.

Candidates must have:

• 1-3 years of active maintenance experience related in multi-faceted facilities such a retirement or residential communities.
• Extensive background and knowledge of carpentry and mechanical, electrical and/or plumbing systems.
• Knowledge of dining area and kitchen equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints.
