KeyStone Center , located in Chester, PA, offers substance use disorder and dual diagnosis treatment for adults. We are located five miles south of the Philadelphia Airport, making our facility an easy location to travel to and from, for out-of-state treatment options and visitors.

The Maintenance Technician performs preventative maintenance and engages in skilled maintenance activities on equipment and plant operations systems. The Maintenance Technician demonstrates knowledge , skills and abilities necessary to perform maintenance functions in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of the Keystone Center.

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to demonstrate competency in the criteria listed in this job description. The specifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and ability to meet the minimum requirements for this position.

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience: Prefer three years plant, building, equipment and utility maintenance

Licensure/Certification: Valid Drivers License

Knowledge: Knowledge of environment of care standards, equipment and utility maintenance

Supervision Received: Director of Plant Operations

Environmental Conditions:

Internal and external hospital grounds subject to extreme weather condition. exposure to high voltage electrical equipment and other hazardous equipment tools and supplies. Exposure to chemical dependant and dual diagnosis patients. Potential for exposure to communicable diseases, blood/body fluids and other hazardous waste.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to communicate verbally and in writing. Heavy physical workload lifting 50-80 pounds unassisted and in excess of 80 pounds with assistance. Requires prolonged bending, stopping, pushing, pulling ,kneeling and climbing throughout shift. Must be able to drive a car and or a truck.
