SRG Global Inc., has an openings for a Maintenance Technician on all Shifts at our Portageville, MO facility.

Our Team

We are seeking a strong individual with the right virtue and talent to join our team. A Maintenance Technician provides technical support for the Molding Department, Troubleshoot and Repair all machinery in the plant.

What You Will Do

  • Installation, maintenance and repair of hydraulic systems
  • Read blueprints and diagrams while troubleshooting and diagnosing problems
  • Uses measuring devices, calculators and myriad hand tools, torque tools and various other tools to service equipment
  • Perform preventative maintenance to avoid operational failures of hydraulic systems
  • Welding, metal fabrication and electrical assembly
  • Provide drawing review and suggestions related to part inspection and testing
  • Use computers and other technologies to investigate and repair hydraulic equipment
  • Reassemble machines and equipment
  • Read dials and meters to determine amperage, voltage, electrical output and input at specific operating temperature to analyze parts performance
  • Provides technical support via multiple communication avenues as necessary to all departments and customers as necessary
  • Provide technical solutions to problems in order to decrease downtime
  • Work with limited direction or supervision
  • Adheres to all safety requirements including lockout / tagout procedures
  • Performs work as a team member to assist in the completion of assigned tasks
  • Performs work on multiple heights / levels
  • Regularly perform preventative maintenance projects and assignments
  • Comply with all safety rules, company rules and guidelines
  • Demonstrate excellent attendance
  • Must be willing to work overtime and willing to work on any shift as required


Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Knowledge of mechanics (Basic Electricity, Basic Mechanics, Basic Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Basic Welding and Basic Plumbing)
  • Ability to troubleshoot and read hydraulic blueprints
  • Basic knowledge of Hand Tools/Power Tools
  • Ability to perform Maintenance tasks with flexibility in position
  • Must have Maintenance Mechanic Experience


Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand or walk on concrete floor for 8+ hours and lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
  • Requires hand, arm, back, and leg strength; also, bending and squatting ability.
  • Must have eye, foot, and hand coordination, and be able to do repetitive grasping, pushing, pulling and fine motor manipulation
  • Ability to work in fluctuating temperatures and perform work indoors/outdoors as needed
