Maintenance Technician

Orion Talent, the nation's largest military recruiting firm, is currently recruiting transitioning or former military professionals for a Maintenance Technician opening with a top Fortune 500 company providing products and services for clients including uniforms, floor care, restroom supplies, first aid and safety products, fire extinguishers and testing, and safety and compliance training.

Position Details:
• Title: Maintenance Technician
• Location: Greenville, SC
• Shift: Second Shift (2PM - 8:30PM M-Th.) (10AM-6:30PM Fri.)
• Compensation: $23.50/hr. - $28/hr. based on skills/experience, First year W-2 ~$55k or more with OT

Position Description:
The Maintenance Technician will be assisting with repairing, maintaining, installing, and troubleshooting industrial equipment, systems and components including, but not limited to, washers, dryers, steam tunnels, conveyor systems; assisting with performing preventive/predictive maintenance; resolving safety concerns; performing indoor and outdoor housekeeping; monitoring inventory supplies and maintaining maintenance records.

Requirements:
• Previous maintenance experience, particularly in industrial processing equipment
• Mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic/hydraulic troubleshooting and repair skills
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics and blueprints
• A team player who possesses an excellent attitude
• Active Driver's License
• Beneficial skills/knowledge: boiler systems, HVAC, welding
