The Mammography Technologist is based in the Montgomery Breast Center on the campus of Montgomery Cancer Center. The Tech is responsible for performing screening and diagnostic mammography in accordance with the American College of Radiology and the Mammography Quality Standards Act efficiently, effectively and with the highest level of quality and concern for each patient. • Graduate of an accredited school of diagnostic radiography.
• Current registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Current registry in Mammography by the ARRT preferred, required within 6 months of employment.
• Prefer at least two years of experience in Mammography.
• Prefer BLS certification.
• Excellent customer service skills.
