Job Overview :

As the Managed Care Marketing Material Specialist in the Office of Managed Care, Ohio Department of Medicaid (ODM), your responsibilities will include:
  • Drafting and maintaining state templates for member, marketing, and provider handbook materials including consultation with subject matter experts.
  • Assisting with establishing the State's process and procedures for reviewing MCE member, marketing, and provider handbook materials.
  • Providing consultative expertise, training, and acting as liaison to both intra-agency & inter-agency providers.
  • Responding to inquiries by telephone, in writing, and in person.
  • Summarizing findings and recommendations.
  • Tracking all member and marketing material submissions and coordinating the reviews with internal subject matter experts.
  • Monitoring and performing ongoing assessments of new and existing managed care member and marketing materials for contract/regulatory compliance and information.

Qualifications

Completion of undergraduate core program in business administration, social or behavioral science, health or statistics; additional 24 mos. exp. specific to subject area of which 12 mos. exp. in use of spreadsheet and database software.

Note: education & experience to be commensurate with approved position description on file.

-Or 24 months experience as Medicaid Health Systems Analyst, (65291)

-Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above may be substituted for the experience required, but not for the mandated licensure.
