What you'll do...

Organizes data-driven analysis and insights to help support business strategies by evaluating ongoing analytical needs; serving as the analytics subject matter expert; reporting data-based insights in a uniform manner; monitoring and reporting on business strategies; collaborating with internal and external business partners to build a consistent and accurate strategy for using data-driven insights; and providing expert advice and guidance on the application of best practices; Presents data insights and recommendations to key stakeholders by consulting with internal organizations; developing insights based on data analysis on highly complex or significant matter; developing big data modeling to identify vulnerabilities; applying analytical results to project goals; identifying trends and key insights; translating results into business actions; and presenting insights and recommendations to key stakeholders. Leads medium and participates in large data analytics project teams and manages long-term, complex analytic projects by serving as a technical lead for analytics projects; working with project teams and business partners to determine project goals; partnering with external entities; developing contingency plans for data analysis; determining modeling based on business needs; identifying the need for use of advanced analysis methodologies; developing case theories across business areas; Implements compliance reporting strategy by identifying customer and operational needs and developing customized reports to reflect reporting requirements; providing guidance and direction on best practice reporting methods;

Act as the primary point of contact offering insights into metric movements and trends and providing data-driven insights. You will play a key role both in shaping our team's seller growth programs, as well as leading cross-functional teams to deliver key results and insights.

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  Adopts a holistic perspective that considers data, analytics, customer insights, and different parts of the business when making plans and shaping the team's strategy.
• 
  Analyzes and ensures accuracy of information by creating, maintaining , and evaluating data.
• 
  Developing and implementing scorecards and other tracking mechanisms; responding to requests for recurring and ad hoc reports; compiling and analyzing data ;and reviewing solution outcomes.
• 
  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and precision in pipeline and activity data. Manage dashboards and reports to facilitate teams' understanding of business health and goal achievement levels.
• 
  Formulate strategies and action plans to optimize seller growth and increase seller adoption of ongoing initiatives
• 
  Utilize analytics tools and languages such as Python, Looker ( LookML ), and SQL to analyze data and generate meaningful insights
• 
  Work closely with the product and program teams to provide insights and recommendations on servicing different seller populations
• 
  Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to seller growth and marketplace dynamics.
• 
  Seeks and implements continuous improvements and encourages the team to leverage new digital tools and ways of working.

Preferred Qualifications...

• 
  Bachelor's degree in business, Analytics, Statistics, Engineering or related field AND 2 years experience in data analytics, project management, business, or relevant area.
• 
  Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite, SQL language, Looker ( LookerML ) and data structure knowledge

• 
  Proficiency in writing complex and efficient SQL queries to extract data. The ability to communicate findings and make recommendations for improvement clearly and effectively.

  Strong analytical skills to assess, research, interpret and analyze data

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. The annual salary range for this position is $96,000.00-$186,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
