The Behavioral Health Therapy Manager will oversee and support the therapy department. This department provides services across the lifespan of those diagnosed with serious mental illness in a community behavioral health outpatient setting. Additionally, our team provides supervision for clinicians who are in the process of obtaining professional licensure. The hire for this position will supervise two outpatient supervisors in addition to some clinical staffing. There are various opportunities for program development and staff training in a collaborative environment.

The ideal hire for this position will have prior experience in diagnosing and treating patients with behavioral or psychiatric conditions. Must have at minimum three years of leadership experience. Licensure is required, LPC or LCSW is preferred.

The dress code is business casual, with jean days on Fridays if you participate in a small donation to a client fund. Parking is located on site at no cost. This is a Monday through Friday daylight position, 8a-430p.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage patient assessments, treatment plans, and therapy sessions.
  • Participate in treatment team meetings and ensure timely documentation.
  • Provide clinical information for service authorizations.
  • Review cases with Director and respond to emergencies.
  • Assess need for additional services and refer patients to appropriate care.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and direct quality assurance
  • Oversee daily clinical operations
  • Alter leadership to issues and collaborate on training needs.
  • Provide staff training and supervise clinical staff.
  • Incorporate evidence-based treatments.
  • Oversee department budget and strategic goals.


Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Education in school counseling, or related field required.
  • Five years of clinical experience diagnosing and treating behavioral and psychiatric conditions required.
  • Three years of demonstrated progressive leadership experience required.
  • Knowledge of psychiatric evaluation and assessment process, as well as application of current version of the DSM required.

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Marriage Family Therapist (LMFT) or Doctorate in Psychology required.

  • Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal
