SUMMARY: Responsible for managing and driving strategic projects in support of achieving the business units and BOSCOE's organizational, operational, and financial goals. Be a change leader to identify areas of improvement across multiple business units. Be the conduit to develop and deliver project plans from concept to implementation for Crowley stakeholders (Fuels, Shipping, Wind).

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Directs the planning for strategic initiatives and projects and establishes key processes and KPIs to measure success.

• Ensures alignment of key initiatives related to process improvement, productivity, efficiency, and overall improvement of financial performance; partners with the business units to establish and monitor overall strategic goals and objectives.

• Manages and responsible for key deliverables of the strategic plan.

• Builds strong cross-functional relationships with internal departments to implement business strategies. Interacts closely with business unit and BOSCOE leadership team to scope and deliver key projects and collaborates directly with other leaders to drive successful completion of tactical and strategic initiatives.

• Identifies challenges, defines problem statements clearly, and accurately applies structured approaches to align organization in a way that effectively addresses these challenges.

• Consults with and influences management at various levels in and across a wide variety of functions.

• Advises and makes recommendations to business leaders on key strategic and tactical decisions.

• Partners with project management and technology groups to measure impacts/ROI and help prioritize resource requirements prior and post-implementation.

• Creates scorecards, dashboards and metrics and partners with business unit leadership on cadence of business reviews, identification of process and performance gaps, as well as automation and efficiency opportunities.

• Manages team of Analysts who are responsible for documenting and mapping processes, identifying areas to improve, and creating business plans to help scale operations at minimal cost.

Qualifications

EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or a related field or a combination of post high school and equal experience may be substituted for education. Master's degree preferred. Master's degree preferred.

EXPERIENCE: 4 - 6 years of related experience as a supervisor or higher in process improvement, organizational development, and/or change management with a medium to large corporation and experience managing medium to large scale projects.

TECHNICAL PROFICIENCY: Proficient with Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.

Ability to get work done through influence and collaboration. Ability to think independently and evaluate process effectiveness and develop change or alternatives. Ability to manage conflict and demonstrate courage to challenge organizational thinking and the status quo. Knowledge of training methodology and the ability to facilitate effectively.

OTHER: Ability to travel as necessary.

JOB SCOPE: Position impacts multiple business units/segments.

WORKING CONDITIONS: Normal office environment with little exposure to excessive noise, dust, temperature and the like. Extended use of a computer keyboard, viewing of a computer monitor and the ability to sit for long periods of time.
