• AdventHealth Heart of Florida is a licensed 193-bed acute care hospital, coupled with outpatient services including imaging, rehab, lab and wound care, that has been serving the community for over 50 years.

The role you'll contribute:

Assists with the directing and managing the operations and activities of a multidisciplinary team of techs, nurses and physicians in the Cath Lab. Monitors patient outcomes and care paths of chest pain patients and engages in data abstraction and analysis of specialty-specific clinical data. Assist with meeting all requirements of regulatory bodies to include monitoring performance standards set forth by the Society of Cardiovascular Centers. Collaborates with the Director on the day to day operations. Occasional call is required; must be within 30 minutes of HOFRMC when on call.

The value you'll bring to the team:

• Oversees day-to-day operations of the unit in regard to patient flow and staff activity.

• Ensures patient charges are entered daily and errors are corrected immediately.

• Collects data & accurately prepares monthly and quarterly reports and presents to designated committee meetings.

• Facilitates & makes recommendations for the development of protocols & guidelines for best practice treatment of cardiac patients across the continuum of care.

• Maintains strong, collaborative relationships with the cardiovascular medical staff built on regular communication, shared decision making and results-oriented problem

solving.

• Obtains new/replacement equipment for the unit to improve patient services.

• Accurately checks and records employee time in Kronos daily.

• Assists in staffing to provide adequate staffing for the unit.

Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:

• RT or Associate Degree in Nursing

• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist certification

• BLS

• ACLS
