Under the general supervision of the Administrative Director or Sr. Manager and according to established policies and procedures for various age groups of patients; assists in planning interventional imaging goals and section budget. Interviews, hires, orients, disciplines, schedules, and assigns work to employees. Evaluates the work performance of employees supervised. Develops and implements policies and procedures. Performs diagnostic interventional images in order to assist Cardiologists in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Responsible for performing job duties in accordance with the mission, vision and values of Tampa General Hospital.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Imaging program or equivalent experience.
• Registry and/or Certification in related area required (e.g., CVIS or ARRT) OR current license to practice as Registered Nurse (Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required).
• Current CPR certification.
• Florida Licensure or will have 90 days to become licensed. Will not be able to perform exams prior to evidence of licensure.
• Three (3) to five (5) years supervisory experience in a hospital diagnostic imaging cath lab/EP department.
