Job Summary

The team manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Client Operations support team, ensuring that all end-user computing needs are met efficiently and effectively. This role involves leading a team of end-user support specialists, managing resources, and collaborating with other IT teams to deliver high-quality support services. As well as provide mentoring, coaching, and guidance beyond day-to-day routine.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Client Operations team, providing guidance and direction to ensure high-quality technical support for all end-users.
  • Develop and implement desktop support policies and procedures to ensure consistent service delivery.
  • Monitor and manage the performance of desktop support services, ensuring SLAs are met and customer satisfaction is maintained.
  • Collaborate with IT management to align desktop support services with overall IT and business objectives.
  • Manage the deployment, maintenance, and support of desktop hardware, and software.
  • Provide hands-on technical support and troubleshooting.
  • Prepare and manage the desktop support budget, ensuring cost-effective resource utilization.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field; or equivalent work experience
  • 10+ years of experience
  • Proven experience in leading and managing a Client Operations team.
  • Strong technical knowledge of desktop hardware, software, and peripherals.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.
  • Experience with IT service management tools and processes.
