Job Profile

Plan, organize lead and manage Registered Dietetic Technicians, Clinical Dietitians, I, II and III in their delivery of nutritional care of assigned patients. Practice the Nutrition Care Process in delivering nutrition care to patients being cared for by manager.

Minimum Qualifications
Education/Specialized Training/Licensure: Bachelor`s Degree in Dietetics, Food Science or Nutrition. Licensed Dietitian (LD) (State of Texas), Registered Dietitian (RD).

Work Experience (Years and Area): 5 yrs. Acute care hospital performing as a Clinical Dietitian.

Management Experience (Years and Area):1 yr. in a Lead, Supervisory or Management role in health care facility or 6months and a certificate of completion in a management training course.

Equipment Operated: Computer

Special Requirements
Communication Skills:Above Average Verbal (Heavy Public Contract), Exceptional Verbal (e.g., Public Speaking)

Writing /Composing: Correspondence, Reports .

Other Skills: Analytical, Mathematics, Medical Terms , Statistical, P.C., MS Word, MS Excel.

Advanced Education:

Advance Training-Specialty: Dietetic Internship

Bachelor`s Degree-Major: Dietetics, Food Science, Nutrition

Master`s Degree-Major: Nutrition, Management preferred
