Responsibilities:

• Manage, facilitate, and improve e-commerce by offering affordable customizable options to the customer base, to include a high level of conversance around digital platforms and SAP in order to produce integrated offerings for internal and external customers.

• Manage the performance and objectives of direct reports to execute on business strategy.

• Manage complex process to ensure work is organized efficiently and standard hours are calculated for all discreet work packages with the custom shop.

• Utilize commercial awareness and knowledge of custom shop operations to maintain and improve profit margins.

• Drive maximum productivity and continuous improvement of product build efficiencies and plant layout by developing best practices, documenting standard work, and promoting 5S activities.

• Collaborate with production control, logistics, assembly, engineering, and parts teams to support production demand, growth initiatives, and customer service.

• Manage operations within assigned work area to coordinate production activities and meet production schedules.

• Process and implement Engineering Change Notices for products to ensure the design is producible as drawn, methods are defined via routing, and that all time standards, process plans, work plans, and tool orders are defined appropriately.

• Establish time standards by use of approved industrial engineering practices for accurate measurement of work performed and facilitate the appropriate approvals to implement into costing systems.

• Provide training, written instructions, and standard work related to products and critical processes to manufacturing

personnel to develop and maintain process capability.

• Provide technical development and product support as required.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering required

• Years of Experience: 5 or more years of relevant experience required, including direct supervisory experience; manufacturing experience preferred

• Software Knowledge: Microsoft Office Suite, SAP
