Meta's Global Operations team exists to help them. The Developer Compliance Operations team ensures that applications integrated with our platforms are high-quality and trustworthy. We are committed to improving the platform experience for users, publishers and developers through the use of automated detection tools, analysis of on and off platform investigative findings, data analysis, guidance, and coordination with product teams. Meta is looking for an operational leader who will be responsible for leading a team of workflow experts and program managers focused on improving our enforcement ecosystem through critical compliance workflows and oversight and optimization of a scaled vendor workforce. In this position, you will interface with internal teams such as Product, Privacy, Legal, Engineering, and other Meta teams, as well as with external Developers using our platforms. Our ideal candidate will have a passion for understanding the "why" behind complex problems and be heavily invested in building a high performing quality ecosystem. They will have a demonstrated risk or relevant operational background, ability to leverage data and technical expertise to make data driven decisions to mitigate risk, as well as the ability to succinctly communicate complex risks to leadership, share lessons learned and demonstrate impact by preventing recurrence.

Manager, Developer Compliance Operations Responsibilities


  • Lead a large group of individual contributors to achieving operational and compliance related goals, including covering business and privacy escalations

  • Create and maintain a culture of operational excellence and efficiency that inspires teams to do their best work

  • Develop the team by providing mentorship, coaching and career guidance

  • Act as a the point of contact for your team and support them in removing roadblocks

  • Act as a thought leader to internal teams, securing alignment across goals and resources

  • Shape the vision of the team, by charting the path towards a less friction full environment, setting goals, measuring progress + sharing results

  • Identify issues before they happen and has good instincts for how to manage across a heavily matrixed organization


Minimum Qualifications


  • 8+ years of experience working in operational or risk roles at a large scale organization

  • 4+ years of people leadership experience, including managing multiple levels of individual contributors

  • Experience with operational metrics and identifying performance issues

  • Experience communicating effectively and reaching resolutions across both technical and non technical audiences, including leadership


Preferred Qualifications


  • Experience in privacy, risk management, or similar area

  • Experience engaging and influencing product roadmaps

$143,000/year to $202,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
