What you'll do...
(All Channels) Digital Marketing Strategy: Understands and supports the development of Walmart's digital media strategy. Uses large and complex data sets; leverages a combination of tools, and sophisticated analysis techniques. Develops insights to suggest improvements to channel strategy that will differentiate Walmart in the marketplace. Participates in product development roadmap sessions with product development teams. (All Channels) Digital Campaign Implementation and Management: Utilizes deep and broad technical understanding of digital platforms' systems and structures to effectively guide campaign execution. Manages small-to-medium sized digital campaigns, defining execution plans for campaign set-up, creation, deployment and assessment, ensuring alignment with campaign objectives. Evaluates and reviews campaign deployment actions in context of campaign performance (e.g., landing page views and performance). Collaborates with internal/external media and business/ technology partners to ensure all campaign delivery plans are in line with overall brand strategy and objectives. Defines key campaign metrics and reviews campaign performance data (awareness, conversion, acquisition and retention) and calculates ROI of programs/initiatives. (All Channels) Creative and Brief Development and Planning: Assists with the development of creative concepts as well as briefs for small-to-medium campaigns. Understands creative brief's messages and develops plan for incorporating messages within campaigns or initiatives in own channel. (All Channels) Process Improvement: Performs assessments to review Digital Media process adherence. Ensures adherence to existing digital marketing processes, workflows, and systems. (All Channels) Budget Management and Financial Performance: Provides input into and manages budget for current campaigns; reports on budget status updates to leadership. (All Channels) Collaboration: Collaborates with digital marketing teams (e.g., eCommerce Category Marketing) and Marketing associates and cross functional teams across the organization (e.g., eCommerce Category Marketing, Site Merchandising, In-Store Marketers, Product Management, Engineering, Insights and Analytics) to implement and execute on small-to-medium channel specific digital plans/ campaigns. (All Channels) People Development: Coaches team members and provides feedback to enhance skills, knowledge and work performance. Maintains team motivation and engagement. Mentors less experienced associates. (Channel specific) Social Strategy and Content: Reviews draft social media content on a daily basis and drives engagement on social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, Snapchat). Maintains defined brand strategies and messaging through monitoring social media platforms; responds to escalations. Interacts with external agencies, ensuring outcomes and deliverables are on time and consistent with project goals. (Channel specific) Paid Search: Continuously generates ideas and approaches to improve company's paid search performance (including modifications to campaign strategy, keyword portfolio development, creative, landing page optimization, bid tool setting adjustments) to increase or decrease volume and improve efficiency for small-to-medium sized campaigns. Understands search engine marketing trends and develops insights based on search analysis results. Reviews budget pacing report, identifies appropriate levers and makes recommendations on modifications to campaign spend and improvements to budget allocation. (Channel specific) Organic Search: Continuously generates ideas and approaches to improve organic search results (including estimating keyword data and meta structure development) for small-to-medium sized campaigns. Demonstrates technical expertise through completing complex SEO optimization activities, recommending changes to site architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords. Evaluates organic search performance on an ongoing basis, identifies appropriate levers, determines key methodologies and reports to gain critical insight on SEO program performance. Continues to build and evolve knowledge of organic search trends and best practices. (Channel specific) Performance Social and Display: Reviews performance reports and dashboards; evaluates performance to determine changes to optimization approach. Identifies advertising and display areas for potential improvement and reports on channel performance gaps. Identifies retargeting opportunities and creates re-targeting plans based on portfolio analysis. (Channel specific) Affiliates and Partnership: Reviews performance reports and dashboards; identifies opportunities for optimization. Supports channel execution activity. Performs channel analysis in support of strategic agenda and initiatives. Develops internal and external processes in support of channel management. Partners with internal teams to communicate and support category and seasonal needs/asks. Maintains and grows current and new partnerships within the existing partnerships portfolio. Monitors the revenue sharing model, and assists in negotiations with potential partners. (Channel specific) Customer Relationship Management: Manages development and execution of briefs for small-to-medium sized campaigns. Undertakes research and analytics to establish and define target customer segments for specific categories for Director review; provides guidance and direction to less experienced team members on type of research and development of outcomes. Works with cross-functional teams (other Digital Media teams, eCommerce Category Marketing, Site Merchandising, Creative) to execute briefs (managing input, story planning); understands the communication strategy and the larger story around the category. Understands and begins to develop technical buildouts of campaigns. Establishes reporting infrastructure and tracks/analyzes campaign performance. Coordinates, completes, and oversees job-related activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders; supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs; identifying and communicating goals and objectives; building accountability for and measuring progress in achieving results; identifying and addressing improvement opportunities; and demonstrating adaptability and promoting continuous learning. Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates by hiring and training; mentoring; assigning duties; providing recognition; and ensuring diversity awareness. The annual salary range for this position is $104,000.00-$202,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
