Walmart Marketplace is hiring an experienced Affiliate Manager to actively manage and scale a portfolio of B2B affiliates and influencers, as well as Direct Buys Strategy as part of our integrated marketing campaigns. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Affiliate and Influencer Marketing, this candidate will serve as an industry expert and adhere to best practices related to Affiliate Marketing, Influencer Marketing, Industry Publications, Content Marketing and Content Creators and Partners. We are looking to complement the team with another member who will quickly learn from others and apply creativity and innovation to build on the team's success. You will have hands-on ownership for key marketplace affiliates and influencers and will collaborate with the broader business owners / marketing team to grow the lending portfolio through these strategic partnerships. The position will play a crucial role in driving growth, optimizing sign up conversions to Walmart Marketplace, and building strong partnerships with affiliate partners. The primary focus will be to develop and implement effective strategies to maximize seller acquisition and brand awareness through affiliate channels. This role requires a thorough understanding of marketing strategy, a data-driven mindset, and strong communication. You will be required to manage partnerships across a wide array of different businesses and build relationships of trust with each business you work with.

You'll Make an Impact By:

Acquiring new Walmart Marketplace sellers, particularly SMBs through inbound and outbound marketing strategies and tactics.

Optimizing spend allocation according to budget and cost targets.

Onboard new affiliates to build strong partnerships on the back of insights along with performance incentives.

Evaluating affiliates, influencers and publishers for brand alignment, target audience, content quality, visibility offered, and best-in-class performance-driven partner network.

Maintain and foster relationships with existing affiliate partners, providing ongoing support and assistance.

Utilizing deep and broad technical understanding of affiliate and influencer platforms, systems, and structures, to effectively guide campaign performance and execution.

Monitor and analyze affiliate performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing optimization strategies. (Highly Preferred)

Track and report on key performance metrics, such as conversion rates, revenue generated, and ROI.

Monitor pacing, POs, invoicing and working with agency partners as needed.

Partnering with [1] our Brand, Content, and Creative team to develop assets and campaigns; [2] our Product Management / Technology teams to define requirements for, prioritize, and build our marketing tech capabilities; and [3] our Walmart Connect and Walmart Fulfillment Services teams to co-market to prospective new sellers. [4] GTM team for product-led campaigns and programs.

Sharing lessons learned, tracking, and reporting performance from campaigns and programs.

Develop insights to suggest improvements to program strategy that will differentiate Walmart Marketplace from the competition.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including paid media, partnerships, inbound and outbound business development, marketing, creative, etc. to align affiliate marketing efforts with overall marketing strategy

Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor activities, and best practices in affiliate marketing

Negotiate and manage affiliate agreements, commission structures, and incentive programs

Provide regular updates, insights, and recommendations to senior management regarding affiliate program performance

Scale the program to fulfill required lead volume while maintaining or reducing the marketing costs as a percentage of sales

Managing campaigns, defining execution plans, providing work-back schedules for campaign planning and aligning team and company-wide goals and objectives.

Content creation, ideation, and execution abilities for affiliate, influencer and publication content.

Working with creative and other agency partners as needed

You'll Sweep Us Off Our Feet If...

Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, economics or a related field, or equivalent experience accepted.

Proven work experience in lead generation/lead acquisition, preferably in a managerial or leadership role.

In-depth knowledge of affiliate marketing principles, strategies, and best practices.

Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to drive actionable insights and improvements.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with affiliate partners.

Experience with performance marketing tracking and management platforms.

Proficient in using analytics and reporting tools to measure campaign performance.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Strong negotiation and contract management skills.

You are comfortable interacting with internal and external teams to create compelling content.

You bring experience developing B2B acquisition marketing strategies and plans, ideally for acquisition of SMBs.

You build and develop relationships, communicate frequently and clearly, and enjoy collaborating.

Technical Skills:

Required: Microsoft Office 365 Suite, highly proficient with Excel.

Required: Experience with Salesforce, custom CRM, or ERP systems.

Experience with Affiliate and Influencers Marketing Platforms; Impact.com preferred, or Partner Centric, EverFlow, CAKE, IZEA, Julius, etc.

Experience with work management platforms is a plus e.g. Asana, Jira, etc.

The annual salary range for this position is $104,000.00-$202,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
