To manage the daily operations of the environmental services department. To perform all related personnel and administrative functions pertaining to staffing needs and development.

Job Description:

1. Manages the daily aspects of the department to include staff, scheduling, oversight, and safety.

2. Maintains accountability for scheduling and staff. Completes all supervisory responsibilities for subordinates including training, evaluation and problem resolution.

3. Provides technical direction to departmental personnel and any outside sources.

4. Monitors departmental procedures to ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory agencies. Promotes the continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental/infection control standards and practices.

5. Assesses and evaluates the condition of departmental equipment for assigned area and recommends repair, replacement or purchase of additional equipment.

6. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field and three (3) years of related experience required. Work experience may substitute for education requirement.
