What You'll Do
:
• Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other
persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises.
• Moves throughout the venue and all areas to visually monitor and take corrective
action when needed.
• Investigates and resolves security complaints. Interact positively with guests.
• Circulate among visitors, patrons, or employees to preserve order and protect
property.
• Write reports of daily activities and irregularities such as equipment or property
damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
• Interviews, selects, trains, supervises, counsels and disciplines security staff for the
efficient operation of the security department.
• Organizes and conducts meetings and communicates pertinent information to the
staff. Schedules and directs staff in their work assignments.
• Communicates with each department regarding specific needs and information for
each event.
• Attend weekly meetings with all teams to review prior and upcoming week's games.
• Gather accurate event attendance numbers in order to staff events properly.
• Recruit and staff preliminary and post events and conduct pre-event meetings with
supervisors.
• Prepare event data sheets for supervisors.
• Work in conjunction with the Event Manager to ensure the building is ready for
opening of doors.
• Ensure that the building is cleared of all customers before releasing staff.
• Liaison for Police, Fire and Event Medical Personnel and Security Office.
• Report event security costs by completing an actual and forward to event coordinators
for billing.
• Read and approve all incidents reports prepared by Security Base Personnel.
• Ensure all day-to-day operations operate within the procedures set forth by the
company. These operational categories include recruiting, hiring, security licensing,
training, scheduling, event day operations and administrative responsibilities.
• Effectively communicate goals to the game-day operations team and communicate
with the wider organization, where applicable, and maintain accurate and up to date
records necessary for processing of internal and external reports.

Who You Are:
• 8+ years experience with a combination of travel management, emergency response,
and security management experience.
• Experience creating and implementing security plans for Stadiums and Arena required.
• Comprehensive travel and event security risk assessment knowledge and experience in
a range of locations, situations, and challenges.
• Track record of building relationships with athletes is preferred.
• Strong evidence of developing travel and event security plans against risk management
requirements, liability and compliance considerations, and business objectives.
• Strong communication and organizational skills, and a willingness to collaborate with
diverse, multicultural national and international colleagues in a fast paced environment.
• Proven experience in building and managing teams in a change management context.
• Experience in media or entertainment preferred.
