• About this opportunity


The 7-Eleven Executive Recruiting team is responsible for is identifying, qualifying and assessing executive talent for our most senior executive positions across the enterprise.

The Manager, Executive Recruiting role is responsible for the full lifecycle of an executive search process from the initial intake, through to a successful hire being made. These assignments will be delivered across the enterprise in partnership with business leaders. In addition, the team supports the succession planning efforts across the enterprise and is responsible for building and nurturing external talent pools for areas of critical need.

You will work with the Head of Executive Recruiting to design and execute appropriate sourcing and recruiting strategies, including building effective networks and relationships to create an on-going pipeline of candidates. As the initial point of contact, the Manager, Executive Recruiting promotes our culture to candidates and positions us as an employer of choice by enhancing/communicating our employer brand strategy to both candidates and the community.

Key Responsibilities:
    • Identify, engage, assess and present executive level talent for specific search assignments and speculative opportunities across the 7-Eleven enterprise.
    • Build pipelines of highly qualified and interested candidates by proactively approaching and recruiting top level talent from a range of sectors and specialties.
    • Develop market maps, identifying industries, sectors and individuals who have the cross-industry skills and capabilities to be successful.
    • Reach out to targeted individuals to educate and articulate the company values, drivers and opportunities that exist within 7-Eleven (both current open roles as well as future opportunistic opportunities.
    • Develop an effective and compelling presentation of the role that is to be shared with the market and prospective candidates.
    • Help manage all related administrative duties related to the search process including status reports, candidate assessments and timely feedback to both the candidates and business.
    • Conduct phone screens with prospective candidates for submittal and hiring manager review.
    • Utilize variety of Sourcing and ATS Software (LinkedIn, Indeed, Paradox, Workday, etc.) to manage recruitment process.
    • Responsible for posting jobs on external sites including networking sites, association specific industries, SHRM and others as needed.
    • Ensures compliance with all hiring policies and practices, consistently meets, or exceeds established metrics and goals, and demonstrates company culture and values through their work.
    • Keep a pulse on market trends and competitor activities to stay competitive in talent acquisition.
    • Track and report key sourcing metrics to measure the effectiveness of sourcing strategies.


Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in human resources, business or other related field of study; and a minimum of five (5) years of related experience.
  • Strong knowledge of talent sourcing techniques and tools
  • Excellent communication, teamwork and people skills
  • Ability to effectively build relationships and network with candidates and internal partners
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume recruitment environment
