POSITION SUMMARY

To be fully engaged in demonstrating Health First's Value Promise by operating as a strategic, administrative, and operational leader to ensure safe, quality delivery of outpatient rehabilitation and fitness services to our community. Provide leadership, planning and direction to ensure business objectives, operational/efficiency metrics and financial goals are achieved.

Oversee charge capture process, financial analysis and capital budget process within Pro-Health and Fitness. Work collaboratively with the respective Director and other members of the IDN, to assess and monitor performance to key operating targets.

Primary Accountabilities

  1. Assist leadership in developing and implementing growth plans and strategies in all areas of responsibility to grow market share and increase revenues/operating income consistent with fiscal year goals.
  2. Assist in developing financial objectives for workforce, operations, and capital budgets, and monitors variances regularly.
  3. Promote a customer-centric culture focused on achievement of top decile customer experience.
  4. Aid in development and implementation of short and long-term objectives to ensure the Fitness Center programs are serving the needs of the community.
  5. Support workforce utilization efforts to achieve staffing and productivity standards, competency/proficiency, and retention.
  6. Ensure compliance with all applicable federal and state regulations, and Health First system policies and procedures.
  7. Sustain professional competence and expertise through development opportunities and participation in professional organizations.
  8. Create and maintain a participative management environment supportive of developing and optimizing the workforce to meet organizational goals and objectives of patient safety, quality of care, customer satisfaction, operational effectiveness, fiscal and program/service efficiency.
  9. Oversee, implement, and maintain a program that improves the quality of fitness center services and supports the quality improvement plan of the organization.
  10. Cultivate productive, trustworthy relationships and maintain effective communication with providers, associates, other Health First constituents, and consumers to ensure positive relations and high credibility.
  11. Coordinate fitness center services with Outpatient Rehab upon discharge to ensure a smooth transition.

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in health management, business or related field.

  • Work Experience: Two (2) years of management experience in a relevant professional and clinical environment in a progressively responsible role.

  • Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office - Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
  • Strong critical thinking skills.

  • Ability to maintain composure in stressful office environment.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Majority of time involves sitting or standing; occasional walking, bending, stooping.
  • Long periods of computer time or at workstation.

  • May be exposed to inside environments with varied temperatures, air quality, lighting and/or low to moderate noise.
  • Communicating with others to exchange information.
  • Visual acuity and hand-eye coordination to perform tasks.
  • Workspace may vary from open to confined; on site or remote.
  • May require travel to various facilities within and beyond county perimeter; may require use of personal vehicle.
