• About This Opportunity

This position will be based in Irving, TX supporting the Southern CA region

JOB SUMMARY: The Fresh Food Transformation Manger, SoCal will collaborate across various functions within the organization and select a third-party food manufacturing partner to execute the long-range strategic food vision for Southern California. This role with be responsible for leading the project to ensure on-time facility delivery to increase our food offering and facilitate a seamless transition of the facility operation to the core Fresh Food Business System team.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
• Value Chain Strategy Translation - Collaborate cross-functionally to translate the long-term Fresh Food category strategy into new manufacturing facility in Southern California with capabilities to elevate our product offering to drive our Fresh Food business.
• Facility Ownership - Own all aspects of new Southern California facility development, including Design, Implementation, build-outs, and Startup.
• Third-Party Food Manufacturer Collaboration - Partner closely with our selected operator to ensure seamless execution of facility-related initiatives.
• Key Performance Indicators Management - Define and track site-specific KPIs to measure the success and efficiency of the newly established facilities.
• Facility Transition - Facilitate a smooth transition of the Ohio Commissary to the core Fresh Food team after achieving predetermined KPIs.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: EDUCATION: Bachelors/4 Yr Degree / preferred not required

YEARS OF RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE: 5+ years
