Applied AI team is looking for a passionate, hard-working, and creative candidate to join our data operations team as a program manager. In this role you will be a manager of a growing team of ML data associates, and will own all aspects of people and process management. You will be responsible for establishing and tracking performance standards, developing strategies for employee engagement and identifying and leading process improvement opportunities. The candidate should possess written/verbal communication skills to effectively anchor discussions with senior leadership, ability to lead and motivate large teams, managing through ambiguous situations and a result driven focus. You must have demonstrated experience working with multiple functions/stakeholders across organizations and have a proven track record of delivering operational excellence.

Our environment is fast-paced, and requires someone who is a self-starter, detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working with multiple teams, partners, and management. The candidate should be clear and use data to drive their communication with stakeholders. The candidate should be able to resolve issues with limited guidance.

Applied AI team is enabling organizations within Worldwide Amazon Stores (WWAS) to accelerate the adoption of AI technologies. We build reusable solutions to make knowledge operations work more efficient and enable our teams to focus on the most creative and critical decision-making work, while raising the quality bar for outcomes. On our team you'll push the boundaries of advanced ML and generative AI techniques to scale the inputs for hundreds of billions of dollars of annual revenue for our e-commerce business. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of team management experience

- 3+ years of program or project management experience

- 3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience

- 3+ years of delivering cross functional projects experience

- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization

- Experience in data mining, data management, reporting, and SQL queries

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $163,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
