Rolling Hills Hospital is looking for a dynamic Admissions Department Manager to manage the day-to-day operations of the Admissions/Intake Department. Responsibilities include oversight of staffing, bed assignments, assessment completions and timely processing, etc.). The Admissions Department Manager assists the Admissions Department Director with implementing admissions policies and practices and coordinates with medical, nursing, and accounting staff to ensure appropriate patient placement. The Admissions Department Manager ensures that all insurance benefit coverage meets the standards of admissions as directed by hospital policy. The Admissions Department Manager must be goal and outcome oriented with a strong desire to succeed and care for patients.

Hours for this position are Monday-Friday 3p-11p.

Qualifications

Education/Training/Licensure:

• RN License in the state of TN, or a Master's degree in Behavioral Health Field (e.g. Counseling, Social Work, Psychology) required.
• RN/LCSW/LPC-MHSP preferred.
• CPR certification (training provided)
• HWC (Handle With Care) certification (training provided)

Experience:

• 3-5 years relevant experience is preferred
• Experience in psychiatric evaluation, triage, and crisis stabilization
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Experience managing a team within a fast-paced, intense environment
