In this role, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the impact Field Enablement delivers to the North America AWS team.
In this role, you will lead a team of Field Enablement Leads, Program Managers, and experts to be trusted enablement advisors to field leaders, drive needs analysis and prioritization, influence global and core enablement programming, land and customize enablement initiatives, and measure the ongoing impact. You will partner closely and play an active role with field leaders, global counterparts, and cross-functional teams to ensure enablement is contributing to the success of the business.
The Business Unit Aligned Field Enablement (FE) Lead aims to unleash the field's potential through learning that feels effortless, working backwards from a line of business leaders (e.g. North America, ISV, FSI, Retail & CPG, DNB). Our organization works to enable the OneTeam to meet their goals and exceed our AWS customers' expectations as Trusted Enablement Advisors by 1) Leading discovery, business alignment, needs analysis, prioritization, and cross-functional interlock; 2) Curating, orchestrating, developing, and/or landing enablement initiatives; and 3) Monitoring and measuring the impact of enablement initiatives.
Key job responsibilities
Inspire, coach, manage, and develop your team
Play an active role in defining and coaching others to scope complex programs and initiatives to meet business needs, present analysis and recommendations to inform and lead change
Challenge and guide the team to ensure the timely progress and completion of their deliverables and address a lack of traction or adoption where necessary
Look around corners and find ways to create the most value for the business and the sales team
Tackle problems and proactively identify and mitigate risks
Organize and direct your teams' efforts so that program milestones and key deliverables are met and are in alignment with your stakeholders
Create and evolve metrics, processes and mechanisms
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience working within a high-growth, technology company
- Experience defining, refining and implementing sales processes, procedures and policies or equivalent
- 5+ years managing a team of direct reports
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience conducting sophisticated and creative analysis of complex data and translate the results into actionable deliverables, messages, and presentations
- Experience presenting to senior leadership
- Experience leading diverse teams to deliver meaningful business results - especially in enablement functions.
- Exhibits sound business judgment, a proven ability to influence others, and a proven track record of taking ownership, and delivering through others
- Experience developing and executing enablement strategies, tactics, plans, processes, systems, and programs

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $120,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $199,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
