The Manager of Assessment & Curriculum position

Reporting to Noble's Senior Director of Academics, the Manager of Assessment & Curriculum will oversee our internal and external assessments and standards alignment in curriculum and assessment. The Manager of Assessment & Curriculum will lead a team of teachers to design and revise a set of interim and biweekly assessments to align to the ACT and IAR. The Manager will lead the implementation of these assessments through management and communication with campus-based testing coordinators. They will also lead the analysis of these assessments through network and campus-based instructional leaders. Assessments are provided online and require some knowledge of online platforms. This person will also communicate and execute all action items for external assessments like the ACT and IAR. The Manager of Assessment & Curriculum will serve as a consultant to our Distinguished Teacher program (evaluating results & assessments, etc.). In addition, the Manager of Assessment and Curriculum supports the curriculum design team to ensure proper alignment with the Common Core standards and the state assessments.

Job Responsibilities
  • Assessment Creation and Implementation: Oversee the creation, implementation, analysis, and continuous improvement of Noble's formative interim assessments and summative Pre/Post assessment model, as well as provide any necessary support for mandated state testing (i.e. ACT, IAR). Manage a team of campus-based testing coordinators and campus-based assessment writers.
  • Assessment Cycle Execution: Support all Noble campuses in the execution of the cycle of data-driven instruction.
  • Curriculum: Collaborate with Curriculum teams to ensure cohesive design and alignment between curriculum, assessments, and standards. Closely collaborate on the design of course-based assessments.
  • Distinguished Teacher Support: Support the annual Distinguished Teacher application process.
