EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
Required
  • Education
    Master's Degree in business or healthcare administration.
  • Experience
    5 years experience in operations, strategic planning, or related, experience in complex organizations.
JOB DUTIES
  • Provide management in translating strategy to operational execution and excellence.
  • Responsible for the management of a portfolio of key initiatives in emerging strategies.
  • Identify operational improvement opportunities - develop hypotheses and deliver analysis by identifying and translating complex data sets into meaningful insights and presenting recommendations to key decision makers.
  • Coordinate cross functional design teams charged with defining transformation opportunities, designing prototypes, piloting solutions, and implementing validated opportunities to reimagine the delivery of care for patients.
  • Perform primary and secondary research to identify emerging industry trends, understanding competitive positioning, and building business cases to support value creation.
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize the evaluation criteria to assess proposed health care delivery transformation projects including guardrails, justification, measurement, communication plan, and timeline.
  • Maintain a relentless focus on the scaling of UTSW best practices and emerging strategies to benefit the entire health system.
  • Evaluates internal innovation ideas to assess the potential for commercialization by reviewing the market, competitive landscape, and other factors to determine potential opportunity.
  • Assist in the continued refinement, enhancement, and execution of UTSW's operational strategies to lead in the markets we serve.
  • Develop and maintain positive customer relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Create and deliver presentations focused on a narrative of advancing the health system to lead in the development and execution of emerging strategies.
  • Creates financial forecasts, benchmarking, and metrics to ensure alignment with overall organization strategic imperatives.
  • Performs other duties as assigned
