Insight Global is seeking a Manager of Procurement for a large Electric Utilities company in Sandy Springs, GA. This will be a direct hire position requiring a minimum of 4 days onsite. The salary range for this role falls between $130-150,000 + Benefits. This position is responsible for coordinating the procurement activities with all departments across organization, and ensuring appropriate procurement practices and processes are utilized to achieve compliance with the companies Procurement Policy. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the development and execution of the company's procurement strategy and managing procurement activities, including the support of transmission and generation assets; IT; accounting services; and financial services.

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of experience in a procurement management role in electric utility, oil and
gas, or renewable energy.
Bachelors degree required / Masters/MBA preferred in related field
Advanced knowledge of analytical techniques (e.g., use of KPIs)
Familiarity with NERC or FERC standards
Proven self-starter with the ability to develop and implement the mechanisms, processes and
procedures required to implement and monitor the procurement strategies, in compliance with the
Procurement Policy
Experience negotiating contracts with a proven track record of successfully negotiating with suppliers
and contractors
