Collins Aerospace is looking for a Manager of SIOP & Operations Performance to lead a team of professionals who drive the global business units Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP) processes, controls and performance analysis. You will manage and lead the SIOP activities across all value streams and sites within the Aerostructures organization and report performance KPIs to Sr Leaders and Collins. You will also participate in projects and initiatives within the organization, prioritize resources and lead effective change management to drive continuous improvement across the Materials organization.

**The position is currently working remotely. Will need to work onsite in a hybrid capacity when circumstances permit in 2022.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Responsible for evaluating, coaching, guiding and identifying learning opportunities to direct staff members
  • Lead sales, inventory, and operations planning reviews with sites, programs, and senior leadership
  • Ensure appropriate controls are in place for SIOP process and procedures across the organization
  • Develop sales, inventory, and operations planning and performance recommendations and present to senior/executive leadership
  • Provide input into inventory, net inventory turnover, and forecasts, plans, and performance to drive improvement opportunities across the business
  • Analyze financial metrics and drive financial reconciliation activities to meet demand, supply, and inventory plans
  • Establish leading KPIs associated with operational performance to drive inventory and cost reductions throughout the business
  • Drive the development and analysis of Internal and External delivery reporting to drive 100% on-time to customers
  • Develop and lead plans to optimize and mature SIOP, capacity planning, production and inventory planning
  • Engage and collaborate on Materials projects and initiatives across the organization
  • Ensure materials compliance through the adherence to company rules, policies, guidelines and audits applicable to the Materials organization


Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree and 8 years of prior relevant experience OR
  • Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience OR
  • In absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience is required
  • Experience managing and leading team(s).
  • ERP/MRP Systems and process experience
  • Experience using Continuous Improvement Tools
  • Able to communicate and make presentations to senior level leadership
  • Able to travel up to 20% of the time domestically and internationally when circumstances permit
  • Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident Green Card holder


Preferred Qualifications

  • Supply Chain Management, Materials Management, Logistics, Business, Finance or Industrial Engineering degrees preferred
  • SAP Systems and process experience
  • Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, ACE or CORE
  • Change Management leadership, certification, training and experience
  • Skilled at building teams and able to thrive in a dynamic, fast paced work environment
  • APICS Certification
  • Strong analytics, numerical and reasoning skills
