Job Title: Manager, Partnership Marketing & Philanthropy

Position Overview:

The Orlando Valkyries, member club of the Pro Volleyball Federation, located in Orlando, Florida is hiring a Manager of Partnership Marketing & Philanthropy to oversee the organization's sponsorship sales and charitable foundations fulfillment, activation, and execution efforts. The ideal candidate must have a proven track record of excellent customer service. The ideal candidate needs to be a dynamic communicator with the passion to under promise and over deliver on sold partnership deals and create long term relationships. The candidate also needs to be personable, energetic, and deliver the highest levels of customer service.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Support the overall sales process in the Corporate Partnerships department. This includes assisting the sales team on renewal & new business opportunities, creation of recap powerpoints and sales pitch decks.
• Responsible for activation and execution of assigned accounts, ensuring delivery of all sponsorship assets in a company's agreement while providing exceptional customer service.
• Build and develop relationships with assigned sponsors via regular in-person meetings and communication, conducting regular planning and activation meetings with assigned accounts. In doing this, the candidate shall learn about and understand the sponsor's business objectives and goals, leading to continual collaboration with the department sales team on integrated activation strategies that lead to renewal.
• Compile and gain insight from market research and online media. Disperse information to sales team and/or partners.
• Schedule and manage contractual game day and non-game day events (pre-game parties, suite reservations, field days and pre-game interactive display setup/breakdown).
• Process ticket requests.
• Coordinate venue signage production and installation with vendors.
• Assisting the Valkyries Charitable foundation President & Executive Director in all facets of the Foundations needs
• Fulfilling foundation donation request forms
• Assisting in planning, selling & executing fundraising events
• Assisting with posts and fan engagement on all team social media platforms for the Valkyries Charitable foundation
• Scheduling appearances of players, coaches, and team executives at all possible charitable events
• Attending, setting up, breaking down and working foundation & community events in the market
• Includes administrative duties, such as answering phones, attending weekly planning meetings and maintaining home game staffing schedule.


Additional duties as assigned by the Team President.

Background, Skills, and Qualifications
• A minimum of three years of experience in customer service and/or in professional sports and entertainment.
• College Degree (preferably in marketing/Management) or equivalent work experience.
• Client Service experience.
• Excellent relationship building, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Local to the Orlando, Florida market
• Must have knowledge of CRM systems, reporting and be proficient in all Microsoft Office computer programs.
