Make a Difference

Responsible for the coordination of regulatory programs for the pharmacy enterprise of Community Health Network. Responsible for developing and maintaining activities to assure compliance with regulations set forth by Joint Commission, the Indiana Board of Pharmacy, and other accrediting bodies, Duties include, but are not limited to activities in sterile compounding, non-sterile compounding, and hazardous drugs.

  • 4 year / Bachelor's Degree Bachelors in Pharmacy (Required)
  • Master's Degree PharmaD (Preferred)
  • CertIfications/Licensures: (Licensed as a Pharmacist by the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency (IPLA) (Required)
  • 4+ years: years hospital pharmacy experience with time spent overseeing regulatory items within the department. Experience in areas of USP 797, USP 795, and USP 800 (Preferred)
  • Responsible for development, implementation, and quality improvement of pharmacy practices in relation to pharmacy regulations.
  • Coordinates the annual educations and evaluations of pharmacy staff to maintain compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Responsible for maintaining policies and procedures related to regulatory compliance in areas of USP 795, USP 797, and USP 800.
  • Develops plans for remediation of any regulatory compliance issues which arise in a network pharmacy.
  • Assists with training, mentoring, and monitoring of pharmacy staff involved in the processes of sterile compounding, nonsterile compounding, and hazardous drugs
  • Serves as a liaison to pharmacy staff and provides broad oversight for Joint Commission accreditation standards, federal and state rules, and regulations.
  • Maintains subject matter knowledge and expertise and enhances knowledge of the standards, rules and regulations that relate to pharmacy services.
