The UHS Corporate Business Office is seeking a dynamic and talented Revenue Cycle Analytics Manager - SQL.

The Revenue Cycle Analytics Manager - SQL supports the UHS Acute Care Revenue Cycle Management operations and maximizes the hospitals' net revenue realization and cash collections outcomes. The Analytics Manager will lead a team to continually assess weekly and monthly revenue cycle KPIs to identify insights to overall UHS performance. The Analytics Manager will work closely CBO leadership in sharing these insights and developing actionable improvement tactics. The Analytics Manager will leverage their extensive revenue cycle operations knowledge and utilize Excel and Tableau/BI Reporting platforms to perform data analysis to draw out insight. The Analytics Manager also will utilize industry best practices to help in assessing performance. The Analytics Manager will serve as a liaison with the CBO Directors in order to enable process improvement activities and communications between the hospitals and CBO operations. They will also foster a collaborative environment that encourages continuous learning and sharing of best practices and help train/mentor employees.

Key Responsibilities include:
  • Use revenue cycle operations knowledge and management skillset to provide leadership in deriving insights that will guide strategic decisions and uncover optimization opportunities across the revenue cycle department.
  • Use revenue cycle operations knowledge and advanced analytic techniques to derive insights that will guide strategic decisions and uncover optimization opportunities across the revenue cycle department.
  • Organize and drive successful completion of data insight initiatives through effective management and data employees and effective collaboration with CBO and Corporate stakeholder(s).
  • Use advanced analytic techniques to discover insights that will guide strategic decisions and uncover optimization opportunities across the revenue cycle department.
  • Identifies practical, actionable improvement tactics to revenue cycle leadership within the CBO.
  • Serves as a liaison in order to enable process improvement activities and communications between the hospital and CBO.

Qualifications

Position Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree and 5-8 years of related experience required.

Experience & Knowledge:

This position must possess extensive knowledge of both healthcare revenue systems and revenue cycle operations , including a detailed knowledge and understanding of healthcare patient accounting systems, functions, processes, policies and procedures , and experience with various revenue cycle operations, from scheduling, pre-registration, admissions to billing and collections of Accounts Receivable .

Must have proven management skills to lead our Analytics Manager, accompanied by a track record of effective leadership, strategic planning, and exceptional interpersonal communication Must have strong Excel skills and SQL and Tableau/BI Tools skills to perform data analytics. Experience using analytics techniques to contribute to company growth efforts, increasing cash, and other key business outcomes by analyzing payer trends, accounts receivable performance, and vendor performance. Strong understanding of Revenue Cycle KPIs and industry benchmarks, and tactics on how to improve performance. Must be organized and detail oriented

The Manager of Revenue Cycle Analytics must have demonstrated verbal and written communication skills; the ability to manage people, process and technology ; and proficiency with Microsoft products, spreadsheets, databases, and project management.
